New Soundgarden Song - Live to Rise

Yes, we're crappin' ya negative. Chris Cornell and The Grungees have recorded "Live to Rise", the band's first new music in fifteen years, for the soundtrack to the film adaptation of The Avengers comic book series (in theatres May 1).

You'll notice that we have refrained from using exclamation points anywhere in this post, which means that we have listened to the song, and while it's respectable, it's no "Black Rain". We'll withhold final judgement for now, as perhaps it'll be a grower. Listen to the new track here.
