These guys were Foo Fighters disciples and peers of Jimmy Eat World back in the early aughts, and released one pretty catch album, 2003's Kill Them With Kindness, before dropping off the emo-ish radar. They've spent nine long, torturous years creating their epic follow up, A Gentle Reminder, overcoming intraband squabbles, substance abuse, depression, alopecia, morbid obesity, severe laryngitis, and Scientology in the process.
OK, maybe that's not how they've spent the entire nine years but a little drama won't hurt for publicity, right?
