Hmmm, I don't know how I feel about this new trend by Super Bowl advertisers of releasing their ads online in the lead-up to the big game. Actually, I think I kinda like it, as it will allow me to completely disregard TV commercials all year 'round, rather than having to pay attention one day out of 365.
In addition to Volkswagon's Barking of The Imperial March, Honda has released the full-length version of it's Ferris Bueller ad. The clip was created and directed by Todd Phillips, of Old School and The Hangover(s) fame. Check it below:
I never thought I’d say this but I’m kinda glad that John Hughes is no longer alive. In fact, I wonder if this abomination would have even gotten the green light if Hughes was still around.
On the bright side, maybe Matthew Broderick will agree to do that War Games homage that Sony Playstation has been so desperately pitching to him. Maybe he'll even rock that sweet haircut again.
