You may recall the news story last fall about the crazy a**hole in rural Ohio who released his collection of dozens of rare and exotic animals and then killed himself. The story was fascinating at the time, but soon dropped out of the public eye as these stories so often do. In this month's Esquire, Chris Jones provides a harrowing account of the local law enforcement's scramble to track down and eliminate all of the tigers, lions, mountain lions, leopards, and bears roaming the woods and fields of this small Appalachian town before they can harm any of its citizens. It's a very compelling read about a truly tragic event. Read it
